António Freitas Miguel é Professor Associado de Finanças com Agregação na ISCTE Business School, onde também é Diretor do Mestrado em Finanças. É doutorado em Finanças pela ISCTE Business School, com a tese "Ensaios sobre Investimentos Internacionais", sob a orientação de Miguel A. Ferreira. Tem ainda um Postdoc em Finanças pela Bayes Business School, Londres (antiga Cass Business School). Ocupou posições de visitante na University of Miami Business School, Florida, e na University of Sydney Business School. Com uma vasta experiência no ensino de programas de pós-graduação, MBA e executivos, foi premiado várias vezes pela excelência no ensino. Os seus interesses de investigação incluem fundos de investimento e investimentos internacionais. É membro investigador da Business Research Unit - Centro de Investigação do ISCTE-IUL desde 2007 e do Centro de Gestão de Activos da Bayes Business School desde 2008. Recebeu uma Bolsa de Pós-Doutoramento e uma Bolsa Sabática da Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia. Obteve também bolsas de investigação da mesma fundação para os projectos "Performance Persistence and The Smart Money Effect in Mutual Funds - International Evidence" e "Mutual fund management, national culture, and market integration". A sua investigação tem sido publicada em revistas de topo, incluindo a Review of Finance e o Journal of Corporate Finance.

Before joining ISCTE-IUL in a full-time position (2005), I've worked as HRM Consultant for 5 years and Marketing Researcher for 10 years. After 2005, I taught several courses in HRM and Applied Research Strategies. I've managed several programs in the HRM field (undergraduate, master and Ph.D. levels). I was the Director of the Human Resource and Organizational Behavior Department for 4 years. More recently I shifted my career to a more research orientation. My research interests are the determinants of organizational performance, organizational identity, and leadership development, especially in highly institutionalized contexts like health care services or public and non-profits.

Doutorada em Gestão, com especialização em Recursos Humanos e Comportamento Organizacional, pelo Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. É Professora Associada no Departamento de Recursos Humanos e Comportamento Organizacional do Iscte. É Diretora do LIA Iscte - Laboratório para a Inovação na Academia. É Diretora do Mestrado em Gestão de Serviços de Saúde.  É Diretora do Executive Master em Gestão Estratégica de Pessoas e Liderança, do Executive Master em Gestão de Serviços de Saúde e da Pós-Graduação em Gestão para Profissionais de Saúde do ISCTE Executive Education. As áreas de investigação são a Gestão de Serviços de Saúde e de Gestão Estratégica de Pessoas. Foi membro de Conselhos de Administração (ou assessora) e possui longa experiência em consultoria em Gestão Estratégica de Pessoas, Gestão de Serviços de Saúde e Mudança Organizacional em organizações, privadas, públicas e economia social, de diferentes setores de atividade.

José Dias Curto is full professor at Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL Business School, Quantitative Methods Departament) and investigator at Business Research Unit (BRU-IUL), Lisboa, Portugal. He earned his PhD in Quantitative Methods for Management from the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL), MA in Management from Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL) and Bachellor's degree in Economics from Instituto Superior de Economia, Portugal. His primary research focuses statistics and econometrics with applications to finance, accounting and economics. José Crespo de Carvalho (JCC) is a Management professor with over 30 years experience both in teaching, researching, managing and consulting higher education institutions and companies. He has a PhD and Aggregation in Management, an MBA and MSc in Management (Information Systems) (ISCTE), a Post-graduate Diploma in Project Management and an Undergraduate Degree in Engineering (IST). Additionally, he completed in presence Executive Education in Negotiation (Stanford University, Harvard University, INSEAD and AIF), in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and in Strategy and Management (Cranfield University and MIT CTL), in Big Data (IE) and in Applied Project Management (Erasmus University). He has served as Academic Director of NOVA SBE Executive Education and currently he is serving as CEO of ISCTE Executive Education. He published some scientific papers and 25 ISBN books. In a nutshell, consultancy and managing companies, besides innovative executive teaching and management in higher education have always been central to define José Crespo de Carvalho as a professional.    

Nuno Crespo holds a PhD in Economics and a Master degree in International Economics. He is the Director of the Master in Business Economics and Competition. In the most recent years, Nuno Crespo was Vice-Rector of ISCTE-IUL and assumed several other positions such as Director of the Department of Economics, Scientific Commission of the Department of Economics, and the coordenation of courses (Master in Portuguese Economy and International Integration and Master in Health Services Management). Researcher at Business Research Unit (BRU-IUL), he has several publications in scientific journals such as World Economy, World Development, Economics Letters, Review of World Economics, Journal of Common Market Studies, Journal of Economic Surveys, Empirical Economics, Papers in Regional Science, Tourism Analysis, Journal of Economics and Social Measurement, Telecommunications Policy, Journal of Informetrics, Scientometrics, International Review of Applied Economics, International Journal of Social Economics. Publications of books and book chapters in his areas of expertise. He is Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Academy of Entrepreneurship Journal and member of the editorial board of several international scientific journals (European Journal of International Management, International Journal of Trade and Global Markets, International Journal of Knowledge and Learning, Sustainability, and Tourism Analysis, among others). Editor of the MPRA. Member of the International Economics Advisory Board of the Cambridge Scholars Publishing. Global Partner of the National Economic Education Delegation (NEED). Member of the Advisory Council of A3ES.
